Console Comparison

GameSpot did a graphics comparison between the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, screenshots inside...

Which is better? It's a never ending battle between Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 fanboys. Even though we're all playing the same game which runs great on both consoles, GameSpot thought it was time to do a graphics comparison between the two. It's too bad they left out the PC, but this will have to do.

Our verdict

As you can see in the images above, it's the Xbox 360 version of Modern Warfare 2 that wins this battle as the lighting is slightly flattened on the PS3 and the textures are slightly blurry too. But then again, this is something you will not notice when playing the game because you're in constant motion (if you're not too big of a camper). This is, and always will be, a problem with cross-platform porting of games. They can't take full advantage out of either console and have to meet on middle ground. Good thing about cross-platform games is that we all can play it... Which, in the end, should be best for all!
