Demo Now Available to Download

Cliffhanger Demo.

A Modern Warfare 2 demo is now available to download on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Yes, you did read that right. Activision and Infinity Ward have released a Single Player demo for the game, despite plenty of sales and 9 months after release.

It comes as no surprise that 'Cliffhanger' is the Single Player level that is featured in the demo. After all, the level has a bit of everything, right? This level sees the player facing a ferocious snowstorm in the mountains of Kazakhstan and features stealth, shootouts, explosions and to top it all off - a epic Snowmobile getaway!

If you're yet to experience Modern Warfare 2 or perhaps you currently don't have your copy of the game, then this demo is for you. The demo is now available to download on Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network.

Map Pack Sales Surpass 20 Million


Activision have also just announced that Call of Duty Map Pack sales have surpassed 20 million. The first Map Pack was released back in 2008 for Call of Duty 4 and has since become a necessity in order to keep the game fresh.

Despite many gamers threatening to boycott Modern Warfare 2's Map Packs due to the price increase, it certainly hasn't affected the sales.
