Resurgence Pack Gameplay5 Minutes of gameplay on the new Resurgence pack that will go live on Xbox LIVE, June 3rd. Are you guys excited? You should be, as these maps certainly look like great fun (I'm not just looking at you Carnival!). Video Gameplay
SummaryFuelFuel has become the biggest map on Modern Warfare 2, battling for first place with Overgrown. It's an oil refinery with wide open spaces, but there are two playable areas. Where you will like it best, is up to your own personal playing style as one part is wide open (snipers) and the other area contains lots of buildings. Trailer ParkTrailer park is the map that is the complete opposite, a smaller map that looks a lot like the center of Favela; tight and lots of choke points. You can take short cuts through the trailers themselves or chose the outside, but it's all up to you to find the best way through this maze. CarnivalLet's hope you're not as scared for clowns as I am, 'cause I'll be having a hard time to not shoot at that gaping mouth of his! ;) The map looks to be a medium to large sized map with great balance for both Assault Rifles and Close Quarter Battles. VacantThis Russian office complex is another fan favorite that has been brought over from Call of Duty 4, just like Overgrown and Crash in the previous map pack. It has a great balance of both exterior as interior fighting on a medium sized map. The visuals have also been pumped to the MW2 engine, plus some geometrical changes have been made depending on your play style! Remember that gate at the end of the hallway at the back of the map? Yes, no more gate watchers! Nothing has been confirmed about in what playlists this game will open, but it sure eliminates one spot for those pesky campers. StrikeWe all remember strike, don't we! Yes, just like in the last map pack there are two flashback maps that have been brought over from Call of Duty 4. Strike has proven to be great with any type of objective gameplay such as Domination and Search & Destroy. But be warned, as this map has been altered a little bit too. Previously, there was an (unintended?) flaw in capturing Flag C in Domination as you could capture the flag by sitting behind a wall in the building. This has now been fixed all in the name of balance. PLUS the door behind you has been opened giving it another route to either flank your opponents or rush through there for whatever reason you had in mind (killing the enemy, we presume). |
