Random weapon updates

Thank you all for filling in the contact form and submitting news, mistakes and other comments!

We can't expect news to hit the Internet every day (though it would be nice!), this  made some time free for correcting current pages. We've been getting a lot of emails about the weapon page, which is the page with the second most hits on Modern Warfare 24/7! The only page that's getting more hits is the frontpage... We try to keep the list clean and only show the confirmed weapons but things are getting crazy in rumor-land. Every weapon is getting the full analysis-treatment, over and over again and it's hard to keep up. We also get emails about where we found these weapons and why we think they're confirmed. Well... Mostly through users like you pointing us in the right direction, a forum or random blog post somewhere on the net. Maybe we'll even update the weapon page with new pages per weapon if there is any additional information like source, images or even videos. But for now, there is just not enough time in one day as it is...

If you think we got something dead wrong or you would like to add to the list, please feel free to contact us a.s.a.p.! But please, don't forget to send some evidence of your findings!

Two other things that we get asked about a lot is the Mk. 14 MOD 0 EBR and the L85A1 (SA80)... The Mk. 14 MOD 0 EBR has been moved from the sniper rifles to the assault rifle section since it's classified as an enhanced battle rifle, not a sniper rifle. Yes, it is used as a sniper in the E3 demo but officially .. yada yada yada.  Try to live with it ;)

About the SA80, there is some confusion going on with this rifle. When Roach runs over a dropped weapon there's a little icon on screen that looks a LOT like the SA80 but the title says "AUG HBAR". We're thinking Infinity Ward just needed to get that demo ready for the E3 and made a little mistake on either the name, the gun or the image and they'll correct when needed... Until there is new light shining on this case, we will not add it to the list...

Today, we've updated the assault rifle section, added C-4 (it wasn't there before, I swear...) and worked on the magazine a little. That's right, we haven't forgotten either ;)
