Our New Digital Warfare 24/7 Site Has Launched

Details on our new website which as finally launched

It's the end of an era and the beginning of something new. Our Digital Warfare 24/7 site has finally launched.

Last week we announced » that we were preparing to launch the full Digital Warfare 24/7 website. Today we're delighted to report that last Friday we enjoyed a successful launch night after announcing via our forums », Facebook » and Twitter » that the site is up and ready for business.

New Digital Warfare 24/7 Website

The aim of Digital Warfare 24/7 is to bring you all the latest news on our featured games as well as in-depth pages on the games, like weapons and multiplayer pages to name a few. Currently our featured games are Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3, but we expect that to grow rapidly the further we progress. We believe that we can offer YOU all the latest news and in-depth information on the biggest blockbuster games. But wait, it doesn't stop there as we also have something called Chatter; a section on our site which houses all the latest general gaming-related news. Chatter could feature big news on games that aren't featured on the site, or even news on other topics like gaming-related movie productions. So while we are doing what we've always done by concentrating on specific games, we're also expanding by briefly covering anything gaming-related.

The new Digital Warfare 24/7 website boasts a lot of new changes and improvements. There is a new look and layout that we believe suits general gaming rather than a specific game, a new commenting system, new social media and sharing buttons, and much more. Let's just say that there's a whole lot of new! The welcome article » details more changes that we felt enhanced the experience for our viewers.

Modern Warfare 24/7 started as a small side-project manned by one person and every day it has grown. During secret discussions it was decided that we would create Digital Warfare 24/7, but before creating the full site, we launched Bad Company 24/7 and Black Ops 24/7. Over a year later and after months of behind-the-scenes work that has been kept very secret until last week, the full website has finally launched.

So how does this affect you and what happens now? Considering you've followed us this far, we would like you to join us on Digital Warfare 24/7 to keep up-to-date on the latest news in gaming, interact with our community and help us to expand even more. As you may have noticed, all of the Modern Warfare 3 articles on Modern Warfare 24/7 now redirect to their ported articles on Digital Warfare 24/7. It's important for us to have a news archive that can be accessed in one place at any time. In fact, one of the reasons why Digital Warfare 24/7 was created was so that we could house everything we wanted in one place rather than the different sites that we've been accustomed to previously. There will be little to no activity on our sites other than Digital Warfare 24/7 now, meaning that you'll have to venture over to the new site in order to stay up-to-date. Other than reading the latest news and in-depth information, you'll have the chance to take part in giveaways and engage in our ever-growing community.

This is the end of an era but the beginning of an new exciting chapter in the 24/7 series. The site is currently in beta, meaning that while it's fully launched, you may still experience problems so don't hesitate to send us any feedback you may have. In fact, feel free to try out the new features to send us the feedback. You can communicate to us by using the new commenting system on articles or the different contact forms for staff groups and individual staff members. Make sure you explore the new site », join our forums », like us on Facebook », follow us on Twitter » and subscribe » to our YouTube channel. With Call of Duty XP in just 7 days - which we'll be attending - you're not going to want to miss out on what we have to offer.
