MW2 on Nintendo DS confirmed

After the news of a mobile version for Modern Warfare 2 now it's Nintendo's time to shine, but not on the Wii...

The DS, the ever so popular handheld by Nintendo, can write Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized (seriously, we didn't make that name up...) to the list of games. Publisher Activision announced n-Space to be the developer. It does makes sense after great reviews of Call of Duty: World At War for the Nintendo DS.

Activision promises that Mobilized will contain a great assortment of weapons and vehicles that can be used in "a unique storyline and companion narrative." When you connect your Nintendo DS to the internet you will be able to play Mobilized via the online multiplayer mode up to 6 players. If you're not into multiplayer all that much there's the brand new Survival mode (fending off waves of enemies) or the Arcade mode which promises to be the dullest game mode you can imagine (singleplayer missions with a time limit and a running timer).

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized is expected to launch on the same day as it's big brother, November 10th 2009.

Wii

Though Call of Duty 5: World at War sold over a million copies it has been confirmed by Activision that there are no plans for Modern Warfare 2 to come to Nintendo's system.
