Modern Warfare 2 goes mobile

Don't worry, Infinity Ward will not be the one developing Modern Warfare 2 for mobile devices.

Glu Mobile Inc. — one of the global publishers of mobile games— announced their plans for making Modern Warfare 2 for mobile devices, like they did with Call of Duty: World at War back in 2008. The game will be available in Q4 2009 and will be published for Android, Blackberry, BREW, J2ME and Windows Mobile worldwide. That's right, Apple's iPhone is missing... 

“Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2 is one of the most anticipated entertainment properties of the year and the Glu team is excited to develop a mobile game for this blockbuster title for fans of the Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare franchise,” said Jill Braff —senior vice president of Glu Mobile.
