Modern Warfare 2 game accessories
[RUMOR] Our friends over at Xboxic (hey Curry!) think there is a high possibility for the beta to be released at GamesCom!
Modern Warfare 2 betaWe don't like to report on unconfirmed news, rumors or HOAXes but over the last weeks we've gotten tons of emails asking us about the Modern Warfare 2 beta program. Let me state this first, we are not affiliated with Infinity Ward so we can not tell you (or confirm) this kind of information. Xboxic has put their hands into places you can easily get burned but if it's true, they obviously deserve the credit. Don't expect us to plug more rumors in the future, we're just hoping this will settle all the questions we've gotten on this subject. The last time Infinity Ward attended the event (GamesCom/Leipzig Games Convention) was way back in 2007 shortly before the release of ‘Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’. Xboxic was at the event first hand to play the game before release and witness the press conference which included a Beta announcement. It seems likely through leaked information handed to Xboxic yesterday that Infinity Ward are planning a Déjà Vu moment and will announce details of the upcoming ‘Modern Warfare 2 Beta’ at this years GamesCom event in Germany.
...leads us to believe that Robert Bowling (aka FourZeroTwo) the community spokesman for Infinity Ward will announce details via a press release of a Beta signup through modernwarfare2.com, with those who have pre-ordered ‘Prestige Edition’ of the game having immediate access.
