Jesse Stern (writer) Interview

Jesse Stern Interview about MW2 Storyline

Around the same time of the outrage in Australia, a new interview with a writer on Modern Warfare 2 was released.

The shocking footage that has been released online has turned quite some heads, even down under in Australia. Again, we will not go in depth off what is so shocking about a certain scene but the footage sparked quite the outrage in Australia. Kotaku reports the following:

"[..] Word obviously reached Australia, prompting Australian Council on Children and the Media Jane Roberts to call on the Australian Classification Board to reconsider the MA15+ rating the game received, which is the highest rating given games in the country. Reconsideration would effectively ban the game from release. [..]"

As nothing is official yet and there are only 10 days to cross off our calendar, we don't believe the release date spells danger. We'll keep you posted when needed though. Thanks 0nurato.

Jesse Stern Interview

Let's just say the timing is perfect, now that G4tv has updated their article with all the developers interview and the new Special Ops footage we » showed you a couple days back. "X-Play's Adam Sessler interviews Infinity Ward Writer Jesse Stern to preview the heart-throbbing, cinematic storytelling qualities of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.", the actual words by G4tv. In this 11 minute long interview Jesse, writer on the TV series NCIS, talks about how he ended up at Infinity Ward, writing for Modern Warfare 2. He also talks about how he loves to have no limitations because every location and explosion can be made without worrying about the budget. Sounds like Hollywood really is losing ground to the game industry.
