Crossed knifes and heartbeat sensor

Heartbeat sensor in Modern Warfare 2

Today was another slow day on the news front... This however, looks interesting:

@battyjack contacted me via Twitter, pointing out that one of the perks shown in the first teaser trailer looks a LOT like the two knives image straight out of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare gamerpic pack! Not long after we found the image.

Now you be the judge if they look-a-like or not:

Modern Warfare 2 perk shown in teaser  CoD4:Modern Warfare gamerpic

Though it's still unclear what it exactly means, it's pretty save to assume there will be a (multiplayer) perk that involves knifes — or maybe it just resembles some other melee themed perk for multiplayer? The fact remains, there are only so many things you can do with a knife... Robert Bowling already talked a little bit about "the new melee stance" where your secondary pistol is supported by the KA-BAr (standard US Marine Corps issue knife). Let's just hope more details will be thrown onto the Internet soon....

Heartbeat sensor

The heartbeat sensor shown in Modern Warfare 2 is a fictional attachment. The technology exists but it's not even close to being operational like it is in Modern Warfare 2. It is mainly used in medical and sport-type branches.

As early as —1996 when the Olympics were held in Atlanta, Georgia— this type of technology was used to measure the heart rate of Olympic rifle and bow and arrow competitors. The goal of this experiment was to find out if training would allow the competitor to avoid a minor movement of the bow or rifle that occurs each time the heart beats. It allowed the scientists to view the shooters heartbeat at a distance of over 10 meters (30 ft.) without the requirement of a physical connection to the subject.
In a later state, the RADAR Flashlight was produced. This spin-off was designed to detect the respiration of a human subject through a wall, door other enclosed spaces. Other uses of this technology include detecting a human hiding within a tree line behind light foliage.

Multiplayer

So this technology has showed it's worth in a snow blizzard, but what about multiplayer? Will it be be included as a perk like the "n00btube" (M203 grenade launcher) was? And if so, what will it's use be in non-blizzard situations? Well, remember the "see-through-walls" technology we just talked about? That would be an extremely good perk against camping/hiding gamers in, let's say, Search and Destroy...

On the other hand, we already have an UAV to spot the enemy... Infinity Ward would be considered mad when they would strip the UAV in multiplayer, so will there be room for the heartbeat sensor in multiplayer?
